World Vision International - South Sudan is now seeking for a qualified and dynamic Individuals (Man or Woman) who are willing to share in our vision and promise to Children, to join us in the role below: Job title: Zonal Program Manager Reporting to: Senior Operation manager Location: Malakal, Upper Nile Zone Availability: As soon as possible Purpose of the position: The Zonal Program Manager provides strategic leadership and day-to-day management for all field programming in the assigned Zone to support World Vision strategic priorities and imperatives and ensure designated goals and objectives for WVI, donors, and the targeted population are met. The ZPM leads the assigned Zonal Program Team in the development, effective implementation of the projects, oversight and evaluation of all programming with emphasis on programme integration, resource acquisition and quality controls as well as staff development. The Zonal Program Manager will serve as the field-level representative for all World Vision programs, ensuring coordination and information-sharing mechanisms are in place. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure Operational Effectiveness e Manageaportfolio of multi-sector progams to ensure timey,on-target, within budget, and meeting the highest quality reporting standards; e Ensure that adequate cost efficiency and effectiveness measures are in place and are being followed e Advanced degreein International Development/Humanitarian Emergencies Studies,NGO leadership or reateddiscipline.(with proven experience of project /program management) e Security training such as Hostile Environment Awareness Training (HEAT) by a reputable agency desirable Required Professional Experience e Atleast 10years’ experience in relief and development, of which 5 must be ata senior management e levelincomplex/ protracted emergencies and recovery operations. e Proven ability to manage a large and diverse program portfolio with multiple donors e Familiarity with EU, USAID, DFID, DFAT and UN partners requirement, grant compliance and procedures. e Willingness to assume other project tasks as required. e Capacity to provide solid leadership and decision-making skills for efficient and effective programe implementation. e Strong problem solving, interpersonal and negotiation skills. e Knowledge of humanitarian industry including sphere standards, NGO code of conduct and humanitarian charter. e Experience in staff security and safety management for humanitarian organizations in complex and insecure environments is a must.
